Samir Shrestha is a singer, songwriter and musician who hails from Nepal. He has been dancing for more than 10 years and has worked with some of the most popular musicians in the world. His unique music is a blend of Nepali folk music and modern pop and rock music.
Samir Shrestha was born in Kathmandu, Nepal in 1989 and he is a Nepalese national. He started learning traditional Nepali instruments like tabla, harmonium and mridangam at a very young age. He later on added other instruments to his list and was able to play the guitar, drums and keyboards. In 2006, he formed his first band, The Dreamers, which was a rock band that played covers of famous songs. The Dreamers produced several popular albums in Nepal and disbanded in 2013.
