By displaying indigenous music, art, and demonstrations of daily rituals, Echoes in the Valley (EITV), an annual non-profit music festival, aims to explore, revitalize, and make relevant Nepal's intangible heritages and fading sounds. Small neighborhoods in the Kathmandu Valley are transformed into expansive platforms for musical exchanges between foreign and local musicians. The festival also provides a wide range of participatory educational programs, music conferences, creative workshops, led neighborhood walks, and an open museum of shared artwork and artifacts.
